Danna Christine Harris, 68, passed away on June 11, 2015 at her home in Raymond, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 10-11:30 am at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 11:30 am in the chapel. A graveside service will be held following the funeral at Strong Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson, MS.

Danna was born in Meridian, MS on November 13, 1946 to Montra Alderdice Harris and James Hal Harris of Meridian. She loved to dance and was a member of the Dixie Darlings Dance Troop at USM. She taught at the MS School for the Deaf. At the time of her death, she was employed by the Jackson-Hinds Library System.

Danna was a member of First Baptist Church in Raymond. She loved God, her mother and her dogs. Especially her latest partner, Skeeter. She believed in "Laughter is the best Medicine."

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents and two uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Montra Harris Wooten; and her stepfather, O.F. Sunny Wooten.
