Cynthia Diane Ashley of Edwards, MS, left her earthly home to join her heavenly father on November 21, 2014.. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 911:00 am at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 11:00 am in the chapel. A graveside service will be held at Edwards Cemetery in Edwards, MS immediately following the service.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 42 years, Jerry D. Ashley. Diane is the daughter of the late W.C. and Rosie Bell Wright of Star. Mama cherished her family, loved the color purple, and adored animals of all kinds, especially her Boston Terrier, Dollar. Her most beloved moments were times she spent with her babies..granddaughter Alyssa Hope Shelton, and grandson Zachary Michael Shelton. She also leaves behind her only child, daughter Faith Ashley Shelton, and soninlaw Michael W. Shelton of Clinton. Diane is survived by her brother James Wright and sisterinlaw Marcia Wright of Pearl along with niece Brandy Woods of Pearl and nephew Jimmy Wright of Pearl. We all sorely miss her. We know now that she is in everlasting peace.
