Cory T. Lurk, 27, passed away on September 25, 2018. Services for Cory will be held on Thursday,
October 4, 2018, at 3:00 PM at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton with visitation starting at
1:00PM.
Cory was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on May 24, 1991. He graduated from Northwest Rankin High
School and then went on to Hinds Community College where he graduated with a degree in Landscape
Architecture. He worked for Schoggenscapes Landscaper in Clinton, MS. Cory had two passions in his
life, Ole Miss Football and turkey hunting but he also loved his late dog Payton. He was always known for
his eyes and will be missed by all who knew him.
Cory is survived by his father Danny Lurk (Emily); mother Jo Ann Lurk; grandparents Tom and Shirley
Lurk and Frank and Lavern Bailey; sisters Michelle Thompson and Danielle Lurk; brother Lance Loyd and
a great number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In Lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to any Suicide Awareness\Prevention
Foundation in his name.
