Connie Miller, Jr., 89, former resident of Brunswick, GA passed away at the Mississippi Veterans Nursing Home in Jackson, MS, on June 17, 2018. Connie was born in Brunswick on November 2, 1928. He was a 1947 graduate of Glynn Academy and the University of Georgia in 1951. Connie was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and worked for Concrete Products in Brunswick for several years. He moved to Jackson and was a manufacturer representative for several concrete roofing companies for over 50 years. Connie was active in flea markets and gun shows in the Jackson area. He enjoyed going to "deer camp" each year as well as frequent trips to Mississippi casinos and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints football team. For over 30 years, Connie was a director of the Mississippi Animal Rescue League.
Connie was the son of the late Connie and Lillian Lang Miller and the grandson of the late Edo Miller. His step-son, Douglas Boniface preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Jo Boniface Miller. At his request, Connie was cremated and there will be no funeral service. Arrangements were by Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Clinton, MS.
