Obituary

Clarice D. Gleason, 70, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2pm - 5pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. Funeral services will be Monday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery, Brandon.
Mrs. Gleason was born May 27, 1947 to Louis & Louise Williams. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. An avid gardener, with a green thumb for roses, won her Yard of the Month so many times her children expected the sign to stay in her yard indefinitely. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Gleason is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arthur and Bobby Williams; and niece, Kimberly Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; daughters, Teresa Allen Trigg (Richie), Melissa Allen Chamblee (Ray), Tomeka Allen Weeks (Jon); step-daughter, Sheila Gleason; Step-sons, Jody Gleason (Dawn), Luke Gleason, and John Gleason (Sherry); sister, Nora Holmes (Dearl); grandchildren, Aletta Dickerson, Merissa Nelson, "Lil" Ray, Lance and Brady Chamblee, Cassidy, Kirkland, Cameron and Cory Weeks; great-grandchildren, Joanna Hajduk, Riley and Jalynn Nelson; step grandchildren, Blake, Anna, Olivia, Lisa, Samantha and Nathan Gleason.
