Obituary

Paul Christopher Senseman

It is with tremendous sorrow that the family of Paul Christopher Senseman announces his untimely passing at his home on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017, at the young age of 35 years. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Paul and Susan, his siblings, Jared and Hannah, his aunt, Deborah, and his uncles, John, Mike, and Richard, as well as countless others whose lives he touched.

Christopher was a gifted child, and a model student during his youth. From his earliest years he had an incredible passion for technology, which in conjunction with his innate inquisitiveness, allowed him to flourish amongst his peers. He began his journey into the realm of information technology when he was no more than 10 years of age, when his grandparents and parents pitched in to purchase him his first computer. The vast majority of his time was spent in his room, analyzing the basics of DOS programming commands, user interfaces, and the like; It was a passion that would ultimately become his chosen career in life. He first graduated from Virginia College with a degree in computer science, and later worked as a talented systems analyst for the MS Department of Corrections, and until recently, the MS Department of Health.

Those who knew Christopher well knew he was a man of solitude, often preferring seclusion in lieu of the company of others. It was certainly never meant as a slight, as he simply enjoyed being to himself. He did, however, have a deep and genuine love for his siblings, particularly his baby sister, Hannah.

Christopher also recently traveled out of the country for the first time in his life, and returned with a lust for seeing more of what the world had to offer. He came back enthusiastically showing photos of his trip to his family, proudly telling stories of his adventures, the people he met, and the history he was able to witness. It was, indubitably, one of the greater moments of his life, and one that his family takes comfort in knowing that he accomplished.

Although his life was short, Christopher left a lasting impact on those who knew and loved him, with special regard to his maternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Bagent. They treasured him more than many grandchildren could have even dreamt of, with a love that resonated deeply until their final days.

Christopher's recent years were tragically marked by an undeserved sadness and feeling of isolation, but he never lost the care and love he had for his family. Whilst those closest to him are deeply saddened by his loss, they take solace in knowing he is now, truly, at peace. He will remain in their thoughts and prayers, always that young and inquisitive little boy who yearned for the newest technology, forever.

Memorial Service Friday November 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm Holy Savior Catholic Church with a reception immediately following. Christopher will be interred at Chancellor Funeral home in Florence, Mississippi, in their cremation gardens.
