Cheryl Taylor Harris, 72, of Jackson, MS, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023. Services will be held in the chapel of Wright & Ferguson in Flowood on June 17, 2023. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 am with a memorial service to follow at Wright & Ferguson.

Cheryl was born October 22, 1950 to the late John Luther and Kathleen Taylor of Jackson, MS.  She was married to her junior high sweetheart, Mike Harris, for 49 years. Cheryl graduated from Provine High School and studied at The University of Southern Mississippi.  She co-owned McDonald Harris Design with her dear friend Laura McDonald where their love of interior design flourished.  Cheryl was known for her ability to transform ordinary objects into something truly unique and beautiful.  Cheryl was a brilliant cook, painter and had the greenest thumb with a keen eye for landscape design.  She loved spending time with her family around the kitchen table, and her summer beach trips with her three grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Harris.

She is survived by her son, Trey (Angie) Harris, two granddaughters, Georgia and Elle Harris, and grandson, Jack Harris.  Additionally she is survived by her brother, John (Kathy) Taylor, sister, Linda (Hugh) Lynch, brother-in-law Mark (Sue) Harris and many loving nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed.
