Charles Ritchie Kelley of Raymond, 83, passed away on January 7, 2018 in Jackson, MS. Charles was born on August 13, 1934 to Charles Mascot Kelley and Maxine Alice Ritchie. He graduated from Clinton High School and went on to receive a Master's Degree from MS State University. Charles retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service, which included two tours in Vietnam.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Kelley, 3 sons Charles Kelley Jr., Steven Kelley, Ron Kelley (Adrianne), 3 step children Richard L. King Jr. (Becky), Robin King Grant (Jimmy), Randa King Houck (James), 2 sisters Charleen Keith, Maxine Engen, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation for Charles will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton and 9:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday. A Graveside service will follow at Clinton Cemetery.
