Charles Walter Jett, Sr. passed away on February 1, 2024. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Mr. Jett was born on July 10, 1935 in Memphis, TN, served in the US Marines from 1953 to 1956 and married Effie Lena Young of Natchez in 1961. He was a long time parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church as well as Holy Savior Catholic Church.

Mr. Jett was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 plus years Effie and his daughter Therese.

He is survived by his four children daughters Laura (Bill), Tara (Tommy), Lydia (Heather); son Chuck and three grandsons Evan (Rachel), Nicholas and Tyler.
