Charles Henry Denson, 73, of Bolton, MS went to sleep and arrived in the arms of Christ Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years Charlotte Jenkins Denson, his daughter Donna (Brad) Baker, his son Charles Banks and his grandchildren: Jack, Molly, and Banks Baker, JT and Maddie Phillips, Wyatt Denson, Jake and Jenni Nelson; his sister Becky Jenkins, brother Tommy Denson and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his daughter Jodie Denson Nelson, mother Arletha Taylor, father Charles Ray Denson, and sister Barbara Woods.
Charles was born February 27, 1948, in Brandon, MS. He graduated from Central High School, class of 1966, in Jackson, MS. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves, serving for 6 years. After his service, Charles worked as a plumber, pipefitter, and welder. He went on to work maintenance and furthered his career by starting his own home inspection agency "Baker's Creek Home Inspection."
Charles was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He lived his life with strength and sureness that was noticed upon the first introduction. He was fiercely loyal, creative, and loved his family deeply, always putting them first. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing, boating, and making things with his hands. He loved to share all his worldly knowledge with his grandchildren and attend and support their school events.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, 2021, from 5-7. Service will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 11 am, with a brief visitation beginning at 10 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS.
