Catherine "Betty" Thorn, 87, of Florence, MS passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.

Mrs. Thorn was born August 29, 1935 in Jackson, MS to the late Allen Horne and Irene Horne Taylor.

She is survived by her husband, Sidney Thorn; daughter, Pamela Matthews and husband, Michael; and grandchildren, Ariana Matthews and Mikayla Matthews.
