Catherine Marsh passed away on November 17, 2016 at the age of 93. Mrs. Marsh was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 5, 1923. She moved to Jackson, MS in 1945 and then was a resident of Clinton, MS for the last 42 years. She had resided at Brookdale Senior Living center, Clinton for the past 2 1/2 months. Mrs. Marsh worked in Jackson at J.C. Penney, Lewis Wilson's Men's clothing and Ann's Children Shop. She was a member of the McRaven Road Church of Christ.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Edward Kersey Marsh, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Kay Boyd, son-in-law, Robert Boyd; granddaughters Anna Boyd Nutt (Jonathan Nutt) and Emily Boyd Clayton (Josh Clayton) and her precious great granddaughter and namesake Ellie Catherine Nutt.

Vitiation will be Friday, November 18, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Wright & Ferguson funeral home, 106 Cynthia St. Clinton, Ms. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday November 19 at Lakewood Cemetery on Clinton Boulevard.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the McRaven Road church of Christ (library fund- 301 McRaven Road, Clinton, MS 39056).
