Brannon Chasley
Martin
March 5, 2000 – February 1, 2025
Brannon Chasley Martin (March 5, 2000 – February 1, 2025) was a vibrant young man born in Flowood, Mississippi. Though born with cerebral palsy, Brannon approached life with joy and determination, and his warmth and sense of humor touched those around him. Brannon particularly enjoyed watching King of the Hill, often sharing laughs about the show with friends and family.
Music played a central role in Brannon's life, and he found great joy in listening to and sharing it with others. One of his most cherished relationships was with his nurse Leslie, who was not only his caretaker but also a close friend throughout his journey. Brannon also found happiness through therapeutic horseback riding, an activity that he enjoyed immensely.
In 2021, Brannon achieved an important milestone when he graduated from Terry High School. Throughout his 24 years, his genuine love of life showed that life's challenges couldn't diminish his spirit or his ability to bring joy to others, and his memory will live on through the many lives he touched.
Brannon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles W. Baugh; his great grandmother, Jean Baugh; his great grandmother, Katherine Rodden; his great grandparents, George and Emma Martin; and his great aunt, Phyllis Martin.
