Brad Medlin

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Brad Medlin, who passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2026 in Jackson, Mississippi. Born on January 26, 1970 in Jackson, Tennessee, Brad’s journey was defined by love for his family, a spirit of kindness, and a life steered by quiet strength. He was a plumber by trade and a skilled handyman. He was a chef at heart and enjoyed cooking. He also loved to go fishing.

Brad’s spirit will live on through those who survive him: his loving mother, Bonnie Walters; brother, Jeffrey Barton Medlin; aunt, Sandra Shinault and uncle, Ronald Shinault (Judy); treasured granddaughter, Kiley R. Magee; grandson, Rylan Garner; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brad’s journey was marked not only by enduring love, but by profound loss. He is reunited in peace with his father, William Robert Medlin; his brother, William Robert Medlin, Jr.; and his beloved daughter, Katie Medlin. Their memories and spirits live on.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home – Flowood, located at 114 Burney Dr, Flowood, MS 39232, on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. A funeral service in loving remembrance of Brad’s life will follow at the same location, beginning at 5:30 PM.

Though Brad Medlin’s time among us has drawn to a close, his presence will be felt in the embrace of loved ones, in laughter shared, and in memories cherished.
