Bonita Faye Allen, 80, passed away at her home in Jackson on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She left this earth for her heavenly home after bravely fighting lung cancer for the past three years. Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church of Clinton on Monday, December 5, at 11 A.M, with the service beginning at 12 P.M. The interment will immediately follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Bonita was born in Montgomery, AL on May 27, 1942. She was a long-time member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Jackson. Upon their closing, she began attending First United Methodist Church of Clinton. She remained life-long friends with her former Epworth members. She also had a long-time career as a surgical technologist. She worked at several facilities, ending her career at St. Dominic's Hospital. She loved keeping in touch with former co-workers, as well. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

Bonita is preceded in death by her loving parents. John and Lou Emma Hollis. She is survived by her son, John Allen; grandson, Ryan Allen (Joy), and great-grandchildren, Maggie and Beau Allen.
