Bobby J. Wilson of Clinton died Feb. 26 at Baptist Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton with services at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery.

Bobby was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Grenada to the late Graham and Rachel Wilson.

He served in the United States Air Force as a member of the Strategic Air Command before moving to Clinton in 1972. Bobby was employed at General Electric Company from 1972 until it closed in 1985. He retired from Rival Manufacturing Co. in Flowood.

Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a past member of the Jackson Bass Club, where he held several offices. He enjoyed sharing his love of the outdoors with his grandchildren.

He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jordan Wilson.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Catherine; daughter, Cindy Wilson Caracci of Jackson; son, Joey Wilson (Ginger) of Clinton; granddaughter, Haley Wilson Boutwell (Dusty); step-granddaughter, Mallory Barnes Shinn (Michael); grandsons, Bailey Rihner (Allie), Parker Caracci, Zach Wilson (Madelyn); great-grandsons, Ford Dykes and Wesley Rihner; step-grandsons, Landon Shinn and Jordan Shinn; sister, Joyce Wilson Logue of Ridgeland and brother, Wayne Wilson (Patricia) of Madison.
