Beverly Ann Beard Holeman passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Noland Hospital Tuscaloosa. She was 79 years old.

Beverly was born in Vicksburg, MS on May 30,1946 to Percy Calvin Beard and Maxine Phanka Beard. She married Franklin D. Holeman on December 21, 1968. Beverly was a devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of unwavering faith. She dearly loved her grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them and holding each one close to her heart. A devout Christian, Beverly was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she worshipped faithfully for over twenty years. Her life was a testament to grace, strength, and steadfast belief.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Scott Rucker of Northport, AL; her son, Calvin Holeman of Nashville, TN; her brothers Johnny Beard of Crawford, MS and Barney Beard of Terry, MS; her sister, Sandra Beard of Learned, MS; her grandsons, Garrett Rucker of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Gage Rucker and Grayson Rucker, both from Northport, AL; her granddaughter, Mallory Rucker, of Northport, AL; her very good friends, Penny McNutt and Linda Ballard, both of Northport, AL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband Franklin D. Holeman; her brothers Daniel Beard and James Beard.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS at 2 PM. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 PM.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Noland Hospital Tuscaloosa, as well as the dedicated physicians of Tuscaloosa Lung, Critical Care, and Sleep, for their compassionate and exceptional care. Their support during Beverly's final days was deeply appreciated.
