Beverly Jean Lee Durham, 71, passed away of natural causes at her home in Starkville, MS on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Memorial and Celebration of Life services will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond, MS located at 201 Hinds Blvd at 10 AM to 11 AM..

Beverly and Steve Durham raised their four children in the great town of Raymond. She touched many lives in the community and began her nursing career at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and finishing her career at St. Dominic's Medical Center in the Cardiovascular recovery Department (CVR). She was an avid romance novel reader and a lover of Science Fiction movies. Her world revolved around her family, and her role in each of their lives was one of selflessness and absolute sincerity. Beverly loved her family and loved the life God granted her. A Born-Again Christian, she is at peace with Our Lord and Savior in Eternal Glory.

She was preceded in death by her mother Tommie Jean McClain, her daughter Bonnie Elaine Turner, her step-father Kenneth "Bull" McClain, her father Douglas Lee and numerous family members. Beverly is survived by two daughters Ellen Renee Turner, Emily (Shannon) Jenkins and her Son Lyndsey (Melissa) Durham. Eight grandchildren, Maeghan Turner, Hannah London, Madison Turner, Alexa (Joseph) Sanders, Brooklyn (Colton) Warden, Peyton Jenkins, Presley Durham, and Landon Jenkins. Five great-grandchildren, Aeryn (9), Hunter (7), Scarlett (5), Finn (4), and Ryder (3). Beverly is also survived by her four sisters Dixie Litton, Vickie (Billy) Potter, Laura Mosley, and her brother Steven "Buzz" (Mae) Lee.

Many people and families were touched by Beverly throughout her life. She was always waiting with open arms for anyone in need. This service is no different. All who knew her and loved her as we do, are welcome with open arms.
