Betty F. Mixon, 80, passed away November 28, 2013. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Monday December 2, 2013 at First Baptist Church Raymond preceded by visitation at 10:00am. A 2:30 pm Monday graveside service will be at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS. She was born January 3, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years. John E. Mixon, Jr. her parents, Earl and Beatrice Flynt brother Earl Flynt, Jr.: and son Glenn Mixon.

Survivors include her sister Lynda Peets of Alabaster AL daughter, Lenora M. Thompson and husband Joey of Utica, MS grandchildren, Dustin Mixon of Pelahatchie, Shellie M. Singletary and husband Jason of Brandon, and Abby Jo Thompson of Utica greatgrandchildren, Korey and Kyla Singletary of Brandon, MS.
