Bethene Perry, 91, peacefully passed away July 3, 2021, at home in Flowood, MS. She was born December 15, 1929 in the small town of Gentry, Arkansas. Bethene was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Brandon, MS for 45 years. Bethene's love and passion for plants, shrubs and flowers allowed her endless hours of pleasure. Bethene was a devoted wife to James "J.D." Perry for 54 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "J.D." Perry; daughter, Cynthia Perry; and brother, Ray Dean Shuller.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Carl Perry (Jennifer), Greg Perry (Karen) and Kent Perry (Julie); grandchildren, Dalton Perry, Olivia Perry and Rhett Perry.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 with visitation beginning at noon at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Flowood, MS.
