Bernard Darrell Richard, Jr, known to his friends as "Rich" and his family as "Bubba" passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday evening, April 15, 2023.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 3:00pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton, MS. Attendees are asked to wear a mask during the service.

Rich was born in Rayne, LA on April 14, 1964 to Darrell and Judy Richard. He served his country in the US Army, including a Peace Keeping Mission in Egypt following the Gulf War, and after retiring from military service he made a career as a Class A machinist. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed spending time with his family, hockey, and outdoors on his property.

Rich is survived by his wife, Terry Richard; sons, Micheal Richard and his wife Hope, Anthony Richard and his wife Taylor, and Ethan Richard; stepsons, Jason and Stephon Lopez; parents, Darrell and Judy Richard of Rayne, LA; brothers, Kent Richard and his wife Angie, Michael "Shane" Richard and his wife Angela, a sister, Denise Brignac; grandchildren, Anna and Sophia Richard; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Willard and Janelle Pousson of Rayne, LA.
