Obituary

Barbis J White, born Barbis Jennett Carpenter, January 17, 1948, in Kosciusko, MS, was finally healed Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was surrounded by family.

Bobbie, as everyone knew her, was preceded in death by her father, Fred Carpenter, mother, Ethel Prince Carpenter Holeman, and younger brother, Tony Holeman Sr.

Survivors include siblings, Billy Carpenter, Timothy "Bobo" Holeman (Dee), and Denice Hardin; children, Kim King (Mike), Kenneth Holliday (Charity), Kaye Bailey (Scott) and Keven White (Eden). She had 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She also had nieces, nephews, many friends and pets.

Bobbie loved traveling and food. Once travel was no longer an option, she became a big fan of social media and shopping. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved leopard print and ice cream.

Bobbie was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. Even though she couldn't physically attend, she didn't miss a service.

Arrangements will be handled by Wright and Ferguson funeral home. Visitation will be at Oakdale Baptist Church on Hwy 471 in Brandon. Times are, visitation, Thursday, June 20, 5-7pm and Friday, June 21, beginning at 10am with funeral at 12pm. Please send flowers to Oakdale Baptist Church.
