Barbara Butler Wilder

RAYMOND  -  Barbara Butler Wilder, born August 19, 1937, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on July 26, 2025, in Raymond, Mississippi.  Barbara is the daughter of the late William H. Butler and Alberta Phelp Butler.  She is preceded in death by both parents and is survived by her husband of 67 years, Willis John "Doc" Wilder; her two children, Londa Wilder of Raymond, MS; Johna Wilder Van Every of Madison, MS and her husband Steve; also survived by her step-daughter Connie Key Rainey and husband Bart; grandchildren include Amanda Jones, Ryan Mottern and his wife Jessica, Ashley Ainsworth, Kristy Trejo and her husband Sergio, Kelly Spencer and her husband Luke; great-grandchildren include Ayla, Emma, Christian, Kamryn and Karina.

Barbara's biggest passions in her life were her family, her faith and teaching Bible in local churches.  Her family would say her greatest skill was being an outstanding homemaker.  She loved cooking, gardening and was a skilled seamstress.  Her kindness and compassion will not be forgotten by those who knew her.

Final Arrangements:  Visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2025 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wright and Ferguson 201 Hinds Blvd. Raymond, MS 39154.  Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Flora, MS public cemetary.
