Barbara Lynn Harrison Prevost

Barbara Lynn Harrison Prevost went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Barbara was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on October 15, 1937. She attended Jackson Public Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1955. She loved her family and her Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church Raymond. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Vera and Curtis Boozer; her infant grandson, James William Prevost; and her loving husband of 65 years, William D. "Billy" Prevost. She is survived by her three sons, Tim (Karen) of Raymond, Mississippi, Keith (Debbie) of Dallas, Texas, and Barry (Teresa) of Brandon, Mississippi; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Family was deeply important to Barbara, and she especially treasured family gatherings. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with services immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Riggs Manor, Methodist Senior Services, Sunday Fund:
