Barbara Bremer LeBlanc passed away June 30, 2022 at 9:20 a.m. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton.
Barbara was born on September 21, 1932 to Mary Belle and Rudolph Bremer in Palestine Texas. She was raised in Glenmora, Louisiana where she was close to and loved by her extended family, particularly her grandfather, Dr. Benjamin Bremer and her grandmother, Tina Berry. She was valedictorian of her high school class and graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where she was inducted into The Purple Jackets, an honorary society for women.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Charles Benjamin LeBlanc and Mark Joseph LeBlanc.
Barbara was a convert to the Catholic faith and a devout member of Holy Savior Catholic Church in Clinton, MS. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Charles; her sister, Bettye Day; daughters-in-law, Missy Driskell (Ken) and Elsa LeBlanc; grandsons, Kyle LeBlanc (Ashley) and Jacob LeBlanc (Taylor); great grandchildren, Paisley, Paxton and Mark LeBlanc; and step granddaughter, Vanessa Inman.
