Barbara S. Fikes Donahoe's Obituary
Barbara S. Fikes Donahoe, 84, passed on to glory on June 7, 2016. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Lakewood South in Jackson, MS.
Barbara was born on June 12, 1931 in Charlesburg, MS to Bartley Fikes and Flournoye Henry Fikes. She attended Morton High School. She also attended East Central Junior College where she played basketball. She was a past member of Daniel Baptist Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Clyde Donahoe.
Barbara is survived by her two children, Mike Donahoe (Cynthia) of Florence and Mark Donahoe (Tricia) of Clinton; three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
The family would like to issue a special thanks to Chadwick Nursing Home and staff for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to the American Heart Association.
