Arthur J. (Jack) Pulley Sr., age 82, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Jack was born on February 4, 1943, in Stonewall, MS, to the late Benjamin and Geneva Pulley. After high school, he moved to Jackson, MS, where he met the love of his life, Linda. They were married in 1963 and celebrated 61 years together this past December.
Jack loved gardening and simply watching things grow. He also had a special fondness for animals, which always seemed to gravitate toward him. Above all else, he loved the Lord and was quick to share his faith with anyone who would listen. He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Pulley; daughters, Arlynda Gill (Tony) and Sandra Bailey (James); son, Arthur J. (Artie) Pulley Jr.; grandchildren, Jamie Thompson (Jamey), Nathan Morrow, Jimmy Bailey (Sarah), Damian Villarraga, Emily Bailey, and Devin Scurlock; great-grandson, Trey McCaskill; sisters, Victoria Aguila and Nonnie Moak; and, of course, his granddog, Missy.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who cared for him over the past few years, especially the nurses and physical therapists at Accent Care and the doctors and nurses at Merit River Oaks in Flowood. The care and compassion shown to our family over the past two weeks did not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
•    Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 12, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, located at 114 Burney Dr, Flowood, MS 39232.
•    The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with burial following at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 555 Concord Road, Pelahatchie, MS 39145.
