Mr. Arthur Boyde Bergum Jr., 79, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, April 28, 2023 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Boyde was born July 12, 1943 in Winnipeg, Canada to the late Arthur and Iris Bergum. He has lived in Brandon for the last 30 years. Boyde came to the United States at 18 years old and served time in the US Air Force. He graduated from Northern Michigan University in Business Administration. He was a plant manager in various manufacturing plants in several states (Michigan, Mississippi, Maryland, Ohio, North Carolina, and Arkansas) throughout his career until he retired in 2008. Boyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, racquetball, and watching sports anytime he could. Boyde was devoted to his wife and children. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol Bergum; daughter, Dana Sullivan; sons Eric Bergum and Jason (Elicia) Bergum, and his brother, Terry Bergum (Linda).
