April Michelle Riley, age 52, passed away peacefully January 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving husband and sons. After bravely battling Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer for a decade, she succumbed to the disease.

April was born in Richmond, IN, and spent her childhood in Panama City Beach, FL, She moved to Water Valley, MS at the age of 13. She graduated from Water Valley High School in 1990 and pursued a degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement at Northwest Junior College.

As an active member of the Clinton Soccer Association, April served on the board and as assistant tournament director and Public Relations Director. Her passion for community and sports was evident in her dedication to the association.

April is survived by her loving husband, Dave Riley. Her beloved sons, Jonathan Alec Riley and Jance Davis Riley, both of Clinton, MS.

She cherished spending time with her family at her sons sporting events and concerts, and enjoyed vacationing with them. April was also passionate about various crafts, including knitting, crochet, embroidery, macrame, and cross-stitch.

April's strength, dedication, and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed and will forever be remembered by all who knew her.  A wife, a mother and best friend.  May God rest her soul.

Visitation will be at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home at 106 Cynthia Street, Clinton, MS, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 16, 2025.  The funeral service will be January 16, 2025, at 2:00 in the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Clinton Cemetery on College Street in Clinton, MS.
