Obituary

On the 4th of July, 2016, Annie "Jane" Biggs Langston, 87, of Raymond, MS, gained her eternal freedom from this earth surrounded in her home by her family. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church (FBC) of Raymond Friday, July 8 from 5 -7 pm and Saturday, July 9 from 10 - 11 am, with the service following at 11 am.

Jane was born August 3, 1928, to the late Vernon E. Biggs and Rosalie Foster Biggs in Raymond, MS. She married Robert B. Langston, Jr. on September 24, 1948. She was a faithful member of FBC of Raymond for all 87 years. A devoted and sacrificial wife and mother, she lived her life striving to be a Christian example to her family and all those who knew her.

Jane was preceded in her death by her husband, Robert, of 31 years and son-in-law Joe Jackson. She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Louanne) and Vernon (Tammie), her daughters, Jan Jackson, Martha Young and Nita (Rick) McKissack, grandchildren Bethany Stubblefield, Jamie Langston, Jeff Jackson, Jayne White, Katie Langston, Rob Langston, Robert Young, Anna Love, Stephen Young, Michelle McKissack, Nicole McKissack and Richard McKissack, and nine great-grandchildren.
