Anna Rose Hutchison Box, 83, of Flowood, MS, formerly of Clinton, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018. She was born in Bolivar County on December 21, 1934, daughter of the late Louis and Ella Eugenia Hutchison.
She was a 1952 graduate of Cleveland High School and received her Associate Degree from Delta State University in 1954, the same year she married her husband of 63 years, William Clyde Box, who passed away June 10 of this year...they are now reunited in Heaven.
Anna had a long career in the television industry, which she loved, retiring as Comptroller of WAPT-TV in Jackson. She was devoted to her family and was known as Granna to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and also to several of their friends. She was an avid Bridge player, especially during her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, her parents, and her brothers, Raymond Hutchison and Clyde Hutchison.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Box (Cynthia) of Colleyville, TX and Sharon Box Feaster (Brad) of Clinton; five granddaughters, Natalie Feaster Maddock (Mike) of Flowood, Anna Feaster Carroll (David) of Savannah TN, Callie Rose Box Witcher (Dan) of Houston, TX, Tara Lee Box of Dallas, TX, and Abby Box of Colleyville, TX; five great grandchildren, Allison Maddock, Emily Maddock, Everett Carroll, Walker Carroll, and Willa Rose Witcher; one great granddaughter (Carroll) due in October; two brothers, James Hutchison of Mobile, AL and John Hutchison of Boise, ID; sister, Frances Mosley of Aberdeen; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the Clinton Cemetery on Saturday, July 7, at 11 am. Visitation will be on Friday, July 6, from 5 - 7 pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton.
A "lady" in the truest sense, she will be greatly missed by her extensive family and many friends.
