Ann Brashier Kirby, age 75, of Clinton, Mississippi, passed away on July 12, 2025 at The Arbor Skilled Nursing facility after a brave battle with Parkinson's disease and dementia. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments.

Ann was born on June 1, 1950, to the late Charles and Doris Brashier and was raised in Quitman, Mississippi. At the age of 11, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. After graduating from high school, Ann pursued her education, earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and later a master's degree from Mississippi College. Ann dedicated her career to education, serving as a teacher in the Clinton Public Schools until her retirement in 2009.

Beyond her professional life, Ann was a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton, where she shared her beautiful voice in the choir for many years. She was also a faithful member of the Agape ladies Sunday school class, where she truly cherished the relationships she built. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and "Granna" to her seven grandchildren. She was known for her feisty spirit, her passion for traveling, and her love for baseball. Throughout her life, she faced difficulties with grace, resilience, fortitude, an unwavering spirit, and profound strength, which she drew from the Lord.

Visitation will be held at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton, Mississippi, on Thursday, July 17, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 PM, with Dr. Greg Belser officiating. Burial will take place at Lakewood Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Ann is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harry Kirby; daughters Karla (Brett) and Katie (Jeff), and grandchildren J.B., Baker, Kaleb, Lillie, Hayden, Carter, and Evan.
