Ann Hoover, only surviving child of CC "Mac" and Grace Mclelland, went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 22, 2023.

Visitation for Ms. Hoover will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Clinton from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Roseland Memorial Park in Hattiesburg, MS at 2:00pm.

Ms. Hoover was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Mclelland; sister Jean Mclelland Blakeney and nephew Clay Blakeney.

She is survived by her son Jay Hoover (Catherine); grandchildren Sarah Pittman (Nik) and James Hoover; great grandchildren Maylee, Easton and Aiden Pittman; nephew Mark Blakeney and nieces Kathy Chenoweth, Karen Joplin, Mary Ann Valladares and their families.
