Alson "Al" William Boleware, 91 passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2017 after a lengthy illness at St. Dominic's Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:00am at Wright and Ferguson in Clinton, MS. Funeral will be held at 11:00am followed by graveside services at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS.
Mr. Boleware, a Staff Sargent in the United States Army, was born in Carson, MS and was a longtime resident of Jackson, MS where he retired from R. L. Polk. He was active in many organizations including The American Legion, The Forty and Eight, The Shriners, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
He is survived by four children, Alson "Al, Jr" Boleware (Jean) of Pearl, MS; Joycelyn Stephens of Albuquerque, NM; Brenda Beasley of Brandon, MS; and Michael Boleware (Rosemary) of Brandon, MS. Also, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Boleware of Jackson, MS.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to family and friends for their love and support, and to the caregivers of Highland Home in Ridgeland, MS.
