Allin William Butts, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023 in Clinton, MS, at the age of 73, surrounded by his loved ones.

Allin was born on February 3, 1950, to Thomas and Phyllis Butts. He worked as a truck driver for many years, and he worked at a chemical plant. He was also a farmer and a mechanic.

Allin lived in Raymond, MS and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed being with his family, working on vehicles, watching television, and telling stories. He loved tractors, older model vehicles, and his pugs. He was a Christian and always made a point to help others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Allin is preceded in death by his brother Tommy Butts and his sister Lynette Butts.

Allin is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Butts; his son George Hennington, his daughter Anita Pittman and her husband Nathan Pittman, and his daughter Bianca Morgan and her husband Greg Morgan; his sister Janet Rotkiewicz and his brothers Waverly Butts and Andy Butts; his grandchildren Hope Hennington, Alana Pittman, Anna Pittman, Christopher Morgan, and Olivia Morgan.

A graveside service and burial will be held at Carpenter Cemetery (Copiah County) on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00am. Ordained minister, Roddy Reed will officiate. Wright and Ferguson in Raymond, MS will be handling arrangements.
