Abigail Evelyn Ainsworth Vanlandingham, 25, beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend passed away in a car wreck on July 6, 2021, along with a son, Jeffro, that she was expecting.
She is survived by her three daughters; Elley, Cleo and Arlo; her mother, Leigh-Anne Ainsworth; her siblings, Callie Ainsworth, Cade Ainsworth, Betsy Ainsworth and Lazarius Thomas Ainsworth; her grandmothers, Lillian Easom and Norma Ainsworth; along with many other extended family members, and friends she considered as her family, that she loved so dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Allen Ainsworth.
Abby was born on December 17, 1995 in Flowood, Mississippi to Jeff and Leigh-Anne Ainsworth. She grew up in the close-knit community of Fannin, Mississippi at the Ross Barnett Reservoir. She was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school. Her siblings were her classmates and closest lifelong friends until the very final hours of her life. She attended Hinds community college. She established her home and family in Fannin. After her daddy's stroke in 2018, she took over his company, Ainsworth Foundation Repair Company. She made it her own, skillfully learning his trade and becoming a successful business owner. Through great difficulties and hardships of her life she learned to deeply love and value people, especially those in pain or in need of help. She would willingly meet the needs of others however she could, even if she herself was in great need. She had a smile that was unforgettable and a life that was so precious and dear to all who loved her. She is missed beyond measure.
Most of all Abby knew who the Savior was. She had been taught the truth, that the only hope for eternal life is found in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of God. Her life had been consecrated to Him.
"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21
